The small polygons of brilliant colors of this work represent both humanity in general and the individual souls that compose it. Grooves and lashings mark the surface and symbolize the wounds and sufferings of humanity. The work is inspired by early Christian art and the background of jeweled and golden white light, which covers the broken and fragmented cruciform shape, leaves no doubt about the victory of Christ's redeeming action. "The light of the world" is the triumphant Cross.
The work was published in the Light Catalog of the world - Light of the world published by Polistampa editions in 2014.
